Driven by large-scale industrial investments and progressive infrastructure planning, Batu Kawan is rapidly evolving into a key economic corridor. In support of this vision, TPJ Engineering is playing an integral role in delivering critical infrastructure that enhances connectivity and supports long-term regional development.
Awarded by Antenna Sensasi Sdn Bhd, TPJ Engineering is undertaking an RM13.2 million infrastructure package for the construction of a 30-metre span bridge across Sungai Binjai - a strategic link designed to support the continued expansion of the Batu Kawan Industrial Area and its surrounding developments.
Targeted for completion within 12 months, the project is set to facilitate upcoming phases of development from September onwards, reinforcing the area’s readiness for sustained industrial and economic growth.
Scope of Project
The scope of works encompasses the delivery of key structural and civil infrastructure components, including:
- Launching and installation of 30-metre precast U-beams
- Construction of retaining wall systems along bridge embankments
- Development of approach slab infrastructure
- Implementation of drainage and associated ancillary works
With Penang Development Corporation (PDC) as the ultimate client, the project is delivered through close stakeholder collaboration and guided by TPJ Engineering’s commitment to quality, precision and execution excellence.
